A little bit of sewing

I managed to fit in an evening of stitching before I went back to work on Tuesday and made these cute little trees.  The felt is raspberry fizz from papertrey ink and the buttons are from my stash.  I did the embroidery with 3 strands of anchor thread - some of the threads date back to the 50's as my mum gave them to me and some had been her mum's.  I did blanket stitch around the edges.
