Yorkshire Sculpture Park

Last week we visited the Yorkshire Sculpture Park at Bretton in West Yorkshire. A new area has been opened up which includes a woodland and lake walk. Sadly it started to rain as we arrived so armed with big umbrellas and Zuri on a long lead we set off to explore!!

We saw plenty of wildlife - highland cattle, various breeds of sheep, canada geese, swans and moorhens. You are ok to take dogs as long as they are kept on a lead - there are some area they cannot go (highland cattle area) but there is plenty of park land to explore. I took a few pictures although it was quite overcast I am pleased how they turned out.

The park is situated close to the M1 and you can see across to Emley Moor Mast which was surrounded in grey cloud.

Thanks for visiting
