Primrose Petals and Crumb Cake

Today I am sharing a card that was totally inspired by our team training session on Saturday.  I have changed the colours and  added my favourite sentiment from the Petite Pairs set.  The card base is Primrose Petals.  The flower from the Bloomin Marvelous set was inked with Crumb Cake and Primrose Petals - I used the stamping off technique to create the different shades.

The sentiment was stamped in Raspberry Ripple on both the front and inside the card.

Sycamore Street with Felicity and Blair

Today I am sharing a fairly clean and simple card.  The colour scheme was inspired by two strips of Sycamore Street designer series paper I had cut to make my training swaps.
The image is coloured with derwent colour soft pencils, the sentiment from the Petite Pairs stamps set and one butterfly are stamped in Rich Razzlebury and the second butterfly is stamped with Pool Party.

Training Make and Takes

Here are the lovely make and takes we did at training on Saturday using the very versatile stamp set Bloomin Marvelous which can be earnt free with a £45 order during Sale a Bration.  We teamed the stamps up with a lovely colour combination of Pool Party and Rich Razzleberry inks with Island Indigo cardstock and a hint of Sycamore Street designer paper.

The first card started off as basic and the one above the stepped up one. I loved the stepped up one with the rhinestones and layered butterflies so I had to add a few rhinestones and a butterfly.

I have made a similar card using Primrose Petal which I will share with you soon

Team training swaps

I spent a lovely day yesterday at Julie's Quarterly Training with almost 40 other demo's from all around the country.  My swaps were made using three items from the Sale A Bration leaflet - the vine street embossing folder, bloomin marvelous stamp set and sycamore street papers.  The card base is rich razzleberry and this is layered with pool party.  I used daffodil delight and calypso coral inks and added a rhinestone for a tiny hint of bling.

The cupcakes are always brilliantly created by Mel - and she has themed them for our Stampin' Up!25th Anniversary.

Julies Jems Blog Hop

Hello and thank you for joining me today.  If you started at the beginning of the hop you will have joined me from Kate's blog .   I hope you enjoyed Kate's lovely projects.

I have used one of my favourite stamp sets that you can earn free during sale a bration - its called bloomin marvelous.

These cards were inspired by a card by Jen Nelson on the Less is More blog.  I have stamped in rich razzleberry and lucky limeade inks using the stamping off technique.  I loved the effect on the crumb cake card stock.

Heres another example on whisper white - you can see the stamping off technique more clearly here with the rich razzleberry. The lovely sentiment is also from the bloomin marvelous set

Next I tried a strip of stamped cardstock and teamed this with my go to happy birthday sentiment from the Petite Pairs.

I am really happy with how these cards turned out and hope to make some more in different colour combo.  The cards are 9.9cm square

Thank you for visiting me today I hope you have enjoyed our hop.  I will be hopping and leaving comments for my fellow jems so if you have enjoyed my cards please leave me a comment to let me know.  Please go to Kylies blog next - where I am sure you will find some beautiful projects and inspiration.
