Starry teddy

Today I am sharing a card made with a really cute bear stamp I bought from LOTV a few weeks ago.  I wanted to make a card for one of the girls at work who is pregnant but I coloured the rabbit pink when it should have remained neutral!!  So I turned this into a baby girl card instead.  I will be back soon with a neutral version.
Thank you for visiting me today.

African flower granny crochet

Hello.  I am sharing my first attempt at an african flower granny hexagon with you today.  I used a 5mm crochet hook with stylecraft special dk yarn.  I was really happy with my first attempt - I just need to make another hundered or so to make a blanket!!
The colours haven't come out too well in the photo as the centre is a lovely egg yolk colour.  I bought several shades of pink and purple yarn at my local wool shop Twist and Purl so I am going to be able to crochet lots of different colour combinations.

Thank you for joining me today.

Primrose Petals and Raspberry Ripple

Today I wanted to add a doily to my card.  I had a look on Pinterest and found a few cards that insprired me.  My colours today are Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple and a hint of Old Olive.

Here is a close up of the layered flowers with rhinestone centres.

I will be back soon - with some more Sale A Bration goodies

Lattice die

Hello.  Today I am sharing a card using the stampin' up! lattice die (fresh out of the packet).  I was inspired by a lovely card on Amanda's blog - mine is a lot simpler.  I used my favourite stamp set from the current Sale A Bration brochure - Bloomin Marvelous  and my trusty sentiment from the Petite Pairs set.  The leaves are stamped in old olive, the flowers are a mix of pale plum and rich razzleberry.  When I have located my scallop square die I am going to have go at a folded card.

A few rhinestones add a bit of bling
Thank you for visiting me today - I hope to see you again soon

Victoria and Juliette out on the town!

Today I am sharing a card which is quite a lot larger than I normally make - its 8"x8"
It features two of the Uptown Girls - Victoria and Juliette, I'm not sure what they are drinking it could be a Green Swizzle judging by the colour.  The image is matted on a lovely patterned paper by Prima .  The deep red pink bazzill background and rolled roses are allcardstock from my stash.  The sentiment is from the Create a Cupcake stamp set and was matted onto a scallop oval.

Here are all my Uptown Girl creations together

Felicity and Blair Take 2

Here's another card featuring the fabulous Uptown Girls Felicity and Blair - they look like they are enjoying the party!  I have coloured them with my derwent coloursoft pencils which I am slowly getting used to.  A bit of bling courtesy of my Stampin' Up! rhinestones, the sentiment once again from the Petite Pairs stamp set stamped in Raspberry Ripple, the leaves are from the Bloomin' Marvelous set and the darker rolled roses are Primrose Petals.

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day to my husband Andrew

Here is a card I made a couple of weeks ago at our Tuesday Night Card Club.  I really love the colour scheme of Pool Party, Crumb Cake, Primrose Petals and Very Vanilla.  There are lots of new items from the fantastic new seasonal catalogue - you will be seeing them all in more detail soon.
